StorylineSeven Psychopaths may just be the greatest project that Hollywood has ever seen — but only if struggling screenwriter Marty (Colin Farrell) can find inspiration. With only one psychopath in his script so far, Marty is wrestling with how to transform this tale into a morality play about love and world peace. To the rescue comes Marty's best friend, Billy (Sam Rockwell), an unemployed actor who wants to help him finish Seven Psychopaths by any means necessary. On the side, Billy and his partner Hans (Christopher Walken) have a dognapping scheme that keeps him flush when the acting gigs dry up. But when the two unwittingly steal the beloved Shih Tzu of a violent and unstable gangster (Woody Harrelson), Marty suddenly has more inspiration than he knows what to do with — particularly when a pair of serial-killing lovebirds who prey on other serial killers, a devoted Quaker with a straight razor, and a Viet Cong killer with a vendetta against America get tossed into the mix.
